Oak slab with bark left on
The customer wanted the bark left on the slab, and while we normally recommend removing it to prevent peeling over time, I think it turned out quite nice. This oak slab, showcasing its natural edge, is thoughtfully crafted to highlight the wood’s authentic character. It sits atop a refurbished Singer sewing machine base, blending vintage charm with rustic elegance. At 1976 Woodworking Design, we collaborate closely with you to bring your custom designs to life, whether for charcuterie boards or unique furniture pieces. Each creation reflects our commitment to quality craftsmanship and personalized style. THIS TABLE SOLD FOR $318

Desks, Entry, Sofa Tables
These range in size from about 4 ft to about 6 ft. Many different kinds of wood can be used, but not all are suitable. These need to be made using the harder woods, such as Oak or Pecan. Cedar looks great as an entry or sofa table, but it's too soft for a desk. THESE CANNOT BE SHIPPED.
