Turkish Olive in a Sea of Blue

Turkish Olive in a Sea of Blue

SKU: 000400SOB
$179.00Price

This beauty has 3 pieces of Turkish Olive wood floating like islands in a sea of blue. Turkish Olive is a bit more expensive than other woods, but it is so beautiful. The blue is a mix of Blackberry, Denim, Cornflower, and Wild Cord Flower. It will turn heads at your next gathering. Just remember, a charcuterie board is NOT a cutting board. Use only a cheese knife. Can be created with other woods, but will not look the same and the price will change.

  • Pigment/Paint Color

Decisions, Decisions, Decisions. This is where you can get really creative. We order our pigment from a place called Eye Candy. You can just tell us what color you want to use, maybe it matches your kitchen or living room or it's your favorite color. You can go to Eye Candy's website and look at the HUNDREDS of colors and let us know from there. If this is going to a friend or relative, consider the same as above in deciding which color to use. Or just give us a color like Blue and maybe a picture of where it is going and we will select something for you.

  • Wood Availabilty

Please note that not all wood is always immediately available. We source our boards from a variety of places. Please contact us at 1976woodworkingdesign@gmail.com to discuss.

  • Charcuterie Boards

Congratulations on your choice. Just a couple of reminders. The only knife that should ever be used on a charcuterie board is a cheese knife. If you want to cut up meat, fruits, vegetables, etc., please refer to our Cutting Boards Section.

Knives will leave grooves in both wood & epoxy. Both must be washed with HOT soapy water to ensure that all bacteria is gone. Never put either one in a dishwasher. The main difference is that epoxy is softer than wood.

All items are custom-made, one-of-a-kind pieces. Photos shown are examples of previous work and may not exactly reflect your final product, as natural variations in wood and epoxy are part of each unique creation.
